There are two bags of stuffing included for the two small bears and you do use the full amount for each bear. They both have their bears on the pillows of their bed and love knowing they have a special heart inside and that they made the bears themselves! It didn’t matter massively as my boys liked twisting the lever and we ended up just taking the bear off and stuffing him with what was coming out of the nozzle, but in theory, it did make the stuffing station slightly redundant as we could have stuffed it from the bag directly!

It is a great experience for children to be able to do and would make the perfect gift for any Build-A-Bear fan. I’ve always wanted to make my own bear as it’s such an important companion when your child so to create your own bear is amazing. When you have used all of the wool, it's time to choose a picture or message to place inside your heart. The accompanying birth certs are good and my six year old enjoyed filling his in (with a little help from me). The machine is suitable for those who are interested in creating a unique plush toy that can be used as a gift or a keepsake.Since then we've had many more of these creations come into our house, including my youngest's favourite cuddly toy, Chewbacca. She has told anyone and everyone about it and she always sneaks her 2 miniature bears into her school bag. You also get some pop out cardboard accessories and birth certificates for your bears, and of course the stuffing station itself. I was able to attach it initially but the minute the stuffing started to come out, it pretty much fell off. With its easy-to-use features, it allows you to stuff and customize your very own teddy bear in a matter of minutes.

Children aged 4 years and over can use the Build-a-Bear Stuffing Station to stuff two furry friends, make a wish in the hearts, dress them in unique outfits, and name them on their birth certificates all from the comfort of their own home. Each time the bear pops off you can move the stuffing around into the legs, arms and head and once all the stuffing is out of the station your bear will be perfectly plump. The stuffing station comes with two bears, so if you have twins or siblings then you can give this as a joint gift. The only extra thing we had to use was a hair pin to open up one of the bears after we had realised that we had forgotten to put the heart in.Make a wish on one of the Build-A-Bear hearts and seal it inside so your furry friend feels the love. We did find that the bear popped off the nozzle a few times as the stuffing doesn't seem to spread throughout the bear so when the bear pops off you will need to use your fingers to push the stuffing to the edges of the bear including its head, legs and arms. The instructions are really clear and helpful, with a step by step guide to stuffing and completing your bears, including tips if you run into any issues with the stuffing or zip.

The bear will pop off occasionally but this is a sign for you to use your fingers to push the stuffing into smaller areas of the bear such as the hands and legs. Even though there are only 2 t-shirts included in the kit, she must've got her bear changed at least 10 times in the space of about 10 minutes. It’s really important before you repeat the process to ensure you have pushed all the stuffing right to the tips of the arms, legs and head before continuing.However the bears are considerably smaller (measuring around 8 inches tall once stuffed) and for me don't have that Build-A-Bear "feel". To get started you choose your bear "skin" and carefully place it onto the nozzle on the stuffing station machine. This may be quite obvious to other people but I was feeling a bit frazzled that day and hadn’t noticed.

if you are not going to purchase anymore bears afterwards, the station is a little redundant afterwards but I’m sure most Build-A-Bear lovers will be after some more at some point! Thank goodness because my kids were eager to get started, I'll be honest they haven't been this excited about a toy in a long time!
