While I enjoy the general vibe of the current interpretation of "blue" fragrances, and I like the modernity of them, I usually find them to be too heavy, sometimes cloying, and too spicy. The output has a bitter citrus scent that soon gives way to a coniferous herbal accord, where I think the juniper is the one that produces that sensation and is the main scent of this fragrance.

If you already own the original Eau de Toilette you’ll be surprised at the difference in longevity with this addition – I was, and I’d go as far as saying it’s one of the most long-lasting scents I’ve spritzed in a while. The subtle spiciness emerges and mingles with the original blue impression, creating an intriguing and multi-faceted scent profile. I think the notes are a bit muted which makes it less interesting but much more accessible for near everyday/temperature use.I often don’t get a lot of the notes that are mentioned in a fragrance’s pyramid l, but here with K I actually do, particularly the three somewhat uncommon ones I mentioned above.

People always say Concrete smells more like a sandalwoody Coca-Cola, which I agree, but I get the same galbanum-mastic gum kind of note there too. This perfume is not a fragcom favourite and I must admit that it took me a while before I decided to go back and give it another chance. The initial spray has a strong pickle vibe that I get from some woody fragrances, but that shifts after a few seconds into a pepper spicy, citrus, slightly sweet woody opening. Now as my nose has been familiarizing more scents in the fragrance world, I see where it does stand.This is the fragrance that will either hit bargain bins and get discontinued and inflate to high cost or people will discover this gem and it willl be removed from bargain bins. The heart reveals the pimento essence combined with clary sage, geranium and lavandin, while the base is woody and masculine combining the cedarwood, vetiver and patchouli accords. I would not have this as my only fragrance, but it is a nice change from the usual notes that you find in mens perfumery. An intensely alcoholic first spray quickly turns into a very green, slightly lavender top and middle note.
