The large, ergonomic trigger and the rubberized, soft-grip handle make the HSA 26 both easy-to-use and comfortable to hold. The shrub trimming blade has its limitations (a hedge trimmer it is not of course) but does a good job at shaping the new season growth on shrubs such as box, skimmia and choisya. It also proved useful on small areas of my beech hedging where it encroached on other plants, where a full-on hedge trimmer would be unwieldy. Just don’t expect to cut woody stems without problems and use secateurs for these.
