There are five levels of temperature setting; Nylon - 85°c, Silk - 105°c, Wool - 140°c, Cotton - 165°c, Linen - 185°c. The most effective substrate for building hot-knife cutters is aluminium – as it is ideal for conducting heat, maintaining heat saturation in production and enabling accurate knife-edge temperatures. Manufacturing steel-rule cutters using one-piece aluminium baseboards has become one of ARROW CUTTERS speciality products. Whilst initially expensive to manufacture, aluminium baseboards exhibit astonishing long-life and durability – making them an ideal and cost effective solution for high volume hot-knife applications. The initial density of the bulk material is a vital parameter of the material model, as it determines the density of the briquette formed during the compaction process. When using the discrete element method, the initial parameter for modelling bulk material is the proper density of its particles. Due to the differences between the geometric parameters of real particles of the material and the elements assumed in the model, the particle density value is determined using the bulk density of the material. For calcium hydroxide with a moisture content of 15%, the bulk density is 0.61 g/cm 3. A mixture based on copper ore concentrate with sulfite liquor is 1.55 g/cm 3. The dependence of the press drive power on the moisture content of the material and the circumferential speed of the rollers when briquetting calcium hydroxide [ 55]. The steam comes from below for good fabric penetration. It is no longer necessary to dampen your laundry before ironing.

Before you do this you will need to secure your runners to the press bed, masking tape will suffice. You will need to insert your blanket and decide whether you want anything between your blanket and the printing paper. We are printing here with just the blanket and you will see we get some embossing. This works well on single colour prints and is also an aesthetic consideration.

Safe and energy-efficient, the steam is automatically turned off after 15 minutes when you take a break. If the electricity should be suddenly disconnected, the roller press can still be opened by hand (in compliance with IEC safety standards). Minimum maintenance required. The original concept for ECONOMY Range cutters was to offer a realistic alternative to the flood of cheaper and inferior cutters available. ECONOMY Range cutters are ideally suited to applications where the renowned longevity and precision finish of our ADVANCED Range is not required. Or for applications that are more cost sensitive or where the working life of the cutter is likely to be short. Depending on flow and mould-filling characteristics, feed is introduced into the plant either via a screw feeder or a gravity-type feeder. The connection between the circumferential speed of rotation of the rolls and the force parameters of the briquetting process was investigated. Graphical and analytical dependencies were established, which show the increase in rolling torque and energy consumption with increasing peripheral roll speed. It is noted that in the studied range (0.1÷0.3 m/s), the density of the obtained briquettes does not change significantly (not more than 3%). The average density of briquettes obtained in laboratory tests is higher than in simulation, respectively, 8.8% for briquettes made of calcium hydroxide and 4.7% for briquettes made of copper ore concentrate, which can be considered a satisfactory result.
