Binge watch your favorite shows, immerse yourself in the latest movies, or thrill in every moment of the hottest games. To learn more about what Hisense has planned for their 2024 models, check out our 2024 TV lineup page. It doesn't support HDR10+ like the more expensive models, but it does have Dolby Vision, which is more widespread. They don't use viewing angle technology like Samsung, so the image looks inconsistent from the side.

Add to this some decent shadow detail retention in the darkest image corners and you’ve got dark scenes that don’t instantly and distractingly look like some poor relation to bright scenes. Furthermore, in some ways, it's even better for gaming than the more expensive Hisense due to the U7K's faster overall response time. Not only in terms of image technology, but also in terms of sound, the E7HQ leaves nothing to be desired with Dolby Audio. Finally, while we’re appreciative of the efforts the 43A6GTUK makes to accommodate gaming, its gaming pictures are impacted in Game mode by quite noticeable resolution loss - especially when playing at 4K 60Hz - whenever you pan around a gaming world. The bottom line, though, is that the 43A6GTUK offers more features and delivers a much greater level of picture and sound consistency than we’d have thought possible for so little money.

The new VIDAA U5 Smart TV OS lets you switch effortlessly between all of your favourite entertainment and built-in apps, including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and Freeview Play. Everything is tested by our dedicated team of in-house reviewers in our custom-built test rooms in London, Reading and Bath. My issue is this in picture settings i do not seem to have the option to access Ultra smooth motion or clear motion there is no option at all in all picture settings that i can find. Finally, Hisense has also announced the Hisense U76N, which is a new model in the ULED lineup that's only available in a 100" size.

Ultimately, this is the best cheap TV on the market, and it's almost as good as the more expensive U6K. This is hardly unusual for the TV world, though, and impacts many sets that cost way more than the 43A6GTUK does. This upgraded operating system offers a faster app launch and one-button remote control access to take you straight to your favourite streaming service. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.
