They are really simple to make, and like the Zero Point Baked Beans they can be kept in the fridge for a couple of days for tasty lunches, jacket potato fillings etc. I have made these BBQ Baked Beans using haricot beans but you could use cannelloni beans if you prefer.Navy beans / haricot, if you can find them (that's what Heinz uses) otherwises any beans (preferably white). These homemade BBQ Baked Beans are zero Smart Points on Weight Watchers Blue, Purple and Freestyle plans. Heinz Baked Beans are produced by sealing raw haricot beans and tomato sauce in the cans, which are then placed in large pressure cookers. The final evolutionary step to my can of baked beans is the use of brown sugar as the sweetener and the removal of any meat (which apparently happened during World War II rationing).

Just as with the initial set of ingredients, add the extra of your choice during the warm up phase and nothing more is required.Information and statements about products are not intended to be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Heinz Baked Beans Barbecue are naturally high in fibre, high in protein and low in fat, as well as contributing to 1 of your 5 a day. A few weeks ago I posted a recipe for Zero Point Baked Beans which I think taste very similar to Heinz Baked Beanz.
