About this deal

Using it just as a microwave steriliser is fine, it fits perfectly in my standard flatbed microwave so I’m not sure why people have problems with the size? Surprisingly roomy for its compact size (can fit 5 x 9oz closer to nature Tommee Toppee bottles with teats in the 2 tiers. We have a small kitchen so I'm always aware of that when I pick products that I know we'll use a lot. If you'd prefer not to plug it into an electrical outlet or you're after a budget-friendly option, go for a manual breast pump that lets you take control of your feeding and pumping process. Downside - this set in particular has three of each bottle size, 3 size 1 teats, 3 size 2 teats, however we invested in 3 extra small bottles with 0 size teats for the first month, and have invested in 3 of the large bottles with size 2 teats for when we size up.

These models are super-efficient and often save you time, as the motor does all the pumping for you. As well as the main unit, you also get a MAM Easy Start Anti-Colic Baby Bottle, a MAM Slow Flow Teat and a MAM Baby Soother for newborns. I would describe ours as medium capacity and there are only a few centimeters on either side of the device when in the microwave. By signing up you agree with this and confirm that you are over 13 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. Please fold the paper along the dotted line and place the chart on a hard surface against an immovable vertical surface such as a skirting board to help gain an accurate measure.Having welcomed our lockdown baby Violet Hope right at the height of the coronavirus pandemic and with her brother and sisters going back to school and nursery as lockdown is lifted my number one priority now is making sure everything at home is as clean as it possibly can be. I’m now 9 weeks in and with the power of hindsight I’d say I should only have bought some Mam bottles and a steriliser. This nifty gadget can also defrost and heat up breastmilk to the optimum temperature or heat up formula when needed. This can be anything from 5 minutes (plus 3 minutes cooling time) for an 1850W model, to 11 minutes (plus 3 minutes cooling time) for a 650W microwave.

and I really wish I'd known about this product 4 years ago as its SO much better than an electric one. We’ve teamed up with Emma’s Diary to put the award-winning MAM 6-in-1 electric steriliser and bottle warmer through its paces – and it turns out it’s way more than just an electric steriliser! I didn’t use it to warm breast milk but found the food warming setting way too hot (would be handy for defrosted frozen baby food).

If you start with bottles from the beginning it's important to have a steriliser you can fully rely on. The bottles are quite hot when finished but you are provided with some tongs to help handle the items until they have cooled down, though I left them in the steriliser until they were cool. The bottles are kept underneath and tops, lids and teats can be sterilised in the top compartment – but you can also place your items anywhere you like if you don’t want to separate bits!

Now that we have moved to 5oz bottles the mini bottles we had as extra are no good so I unpacked, boiled and sterlised the big bottles but didn't realize they came with size 2 teats. With the pump, we also got the electric one and it's really quite, I can sleep through it, relatively quick, roughly 15-30 mins per boob, battery roughly lasts about 4-5 sessions depending on what pump setting you choose, all I a good all round electric pump, even better when you combine the bottles and storage containers. The MAM bottle was also especially convenient because of the ability to be sterilized alone in the microwave. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. It did take me a f a few attempts to work out the best way to load it, but after a couple of attempts we have cracked the most practical way for us!

With everything from baby cutlery that'll help your baby get used to holding a spoon, to plate sets and waterproof splash mats to keep your kitchen clear of mess, get ready for weaning with our essentials collection seen here. It can be used as both a steriliser for when baby is under 6 months old and a bottle warmer and then can be used as a food warmer for weaning. The bottle warmer is also again a life saver, much quicker than others I’ve tried and just general hot water. Also the products let off a lot of steam and can make the kitchen quite wet, I feel the bottle warmer needs a cover over it.I find that the electric sterilisation appears to be much quicker than other sterilisers that I’ve tried. It’s a really versatile piece of kit and would work well for a parent who has a lot of items to sterilise, for example, a mum who is bottle-feeding, pumping and/or using nipple shields (or a combination of all 3). You can also just about use it one handed to sterilise and easily one handed for bottle warming so a win either way. Everything from baby blenders to cutlery, bibs, and splash mats has been designed to make mealtimes simpler for you and your little one. This is around the time that you'll start weaning, so a high chair is great for keeping them comfy, safe and part of the family at meal times.
