Written by Victor Margiotta and illustrated by Ian Parker, a mouth painter with the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (MFPA). Their illness did not prevent them from following their dreams, leading a productive life, finding love and influencing so many with their joyful spirit. She was utterly intrigued by the fact this was possible and amazed that each of the 34 illustrations had been painted in this way. Painting took longer to achieve, I found it difficult to control the paint, but because I wanted to take art to exam level at school, I had to start taking it more seriously and get the hang of it. Unlike a picture hanging on the wall or holding a single card in your hands, you're interacting with the book and getting involved in it as you follow the words and images of the story. The book itself is really good quality with large colourfully printed pages, I really like that at the start of the book there is a photo of Ian Parker painting with his mouth, alongside the author Victor Margiotta. Despite this, she got a lot of enjoyment out of it, and the little discussions which came out of the story.
