Imodium Instant Melts contain the active ingredient loperamide and is commonly used to treat short-term diarrhoea in adults and children over 12 years of age. Adults and children over 12 should take two tablets to start treatment, then one tablet after each loose bowel movement. Diarrhoea in Adults that lasts longer than 14 days or any Diarrhoea that has blood or pus present should be investigated by a doctor.
