About this deal

June 20/June 21. The Summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and the Winter solstice in the Southern Hemisphere. In the centre of the Tarot picture is Hathoor, seated on a cubical throne, for Taurus is the Foundation of the Earth. The throne is of moon-white or silver, for the Moon is exalted in Taurus and is the fructification of earth and all her creatures. It is placed between two pillars of silver and gold. Lotus flowers surmount the tetrahedronal capitals. Hathoor is crowned with the solar disk and lunar cow horns. She bears the lotus wand in her right hand, symbol of the perfume of immortality, and in her left she bears the Rosy Cross of Life and Love.

Grant, Kenneth (1980). Outside the Circles of Time. Muller. Contains a lengthy account of the writing of Nema's Liber Pennae Praenumbra. For The Star is referred to Aquarius in the Zodiac, and The Emperor to Aries. Now Aries and Aquarius are on each side of Pisces, just as Leo and Libra are on each side of Virgo; that is to say, the correction in the Book of the Law gives a perfect symmetry in the zodiacal attribution, just as if a loop were formed at one end of the ellipse to correspond exactly with the existing loop at the other end. An exposition in poetic language of several of the ways of attainment and the results obtained. In the form of a Discourse between and Adept and His Pupil. With the barbarous names of evocation used therein, and the secret rubric of the ritual, by the Master Therion. This is the most potent invocation extant, and was used by the Master Himself in his Attainment. Please note that this ritual is identical with Liber Samekh in many aspects, however, there are differences. This is the 1904 version. François Rabelais was a Franciscan and later a Benedictine monk of the 16th century. Eventually he left the monastery to study medicine, and moved to the French city of Lyon in 1532. There he wrote Gargantua and Pantagruel, a connected series of books. They tell the story of two giants—a father (Gargantua) and his son (Pantagruel) and their adventures—written in an amusing, extravagant, and satirical vein.Being a book of Trigrams of the Mutations of the Tao with the Yin and Yang. An account of the Cosmic process: corresponding to the stanzas of Dzyan in another system. In this way, the first phrase is abbreviated to "93" while the second is abbreviated to "93 93/93", with the division "93/93" symbolizing love "under" will. Every man and every woman is a star" [41] is a reference to the body of light, [42] said by Plato to be composed of the same substance as the stars; [43] and that persons doing their Wills are thereby like stars in the universe: occupying a time and position in space, yet distinctly individual and having an independent nature largely without undue conflict with other stars. Aleister Crowley e il suo soggiorno in Sicilia’, held in Cefalù, Sicily, and resulting in the publication of a proceedings volume edited by PierLuigi Zoccatelli the following year. 17 The year 1997 also witnessed the publication of an article by Alex Owen treating Crowley’s exploration of the self as an engagement with Edwardian subjectivity and its complex dynamics of gender, race, and colonialism. 18 Marco Pasi’s Aleister Crowley e la tentazione della politica (published in English in 2014), first appearing in 1999, is the earliest scholarly monograph focused entirely on Crowley and explores his relationship with politics. 19 From outside of the academic study of esotericism, the 1990s on have witnessed the publication of several major biographies on Crowley and some of his key disciples, as well as annotated editions of Crowley’s writings. 20
