About this deal

I’m so happy to say that online videos and reviews don’t do it any justice -this is a beautiful and informative book and a real look behind the scenes-I would definitely recommend getting it to anyone. In 2013, the book's third chapter (which explains the twelve basic principles of animation) was republished in its entirety with the permission of the authors' heirs in the Disney Animated iPad app from Touch Press. One of the purposes is also to hope that some of the future readers can be inspired by them, inherited by them, and share their dreams. The authors, Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston , worked with Walt Disney himself as well as other leading figures in a half-century of Disney films.

If the creator plays a role similar to God, he has a basic idea of the general fate and character of this role, and may even have a general consideration of the final outcome of his creation. Not to be mistaken for just a “how-to-do-it,” this voluminously illustrated volume (like the classic Disney films themselves) is definitely intended for everyone to enjoy. I loved the continuous flip book in the upper right hand corner of this tome, and I spent countless hours of my childhood looking at images of the Disney films I loved, and photographs of the people who made them. The authors' pride in their work shines through, and it's astonishing how much time, effort, and teamwork went into each movie, especially without the aid of computers. The Illusion of Life is the most massive, formidable-looking book I have ever seen about classic Disney animation. We also somehow had little plastic Disney character figures to play with (Kids - this was before Wal-Mart and China and the Internet) I still got to see Disney Illustrations everywhere and imagine the movies that were so famous in our culture. No matter what the devil one talks about—whether force or form, or well-drawn characters, timing, or spacing—animation is all these things—not anyone. They personally animated leading characters in most of the famous films and have decades of close association with the others who helped perfect this extremely difficult and time-consuming art form.

But he was also practical enough to work with what he had, rather than wait for what he wished he had. Written immediately after their retirement after almost fifty years at the studio by a close-working team of personal friends, this book did a lot to bring to light what had been more insulated "industry secrets.

However, the creator must not be able to clearly know everything in the entire life of this character.
