About this deal

We find the times, places and experiences in our own lives that need to be remembered, honoured, and mourned.

Her twitter bio says she loves her family, her job, reading, writing, singing loudly in the car, and Pringles, so that must be true then. There’s that feel-good, exciting, romantic, ‘warm’ feel that Katie achieves and it’s definitely there in Letting In Light too. Noosha, thanks for sharing your brokenness insights, and the sources of wisdom that has inspired you. By embracing flaws and imperfections, the object becomes a symbol of fragility and strength, and beauty in its scars.

He could almost be wrestling or dancing with reality as the windows of his tolerance are stretched almost to breaking. Our heroine, Ellie, relocates from the city to the countryside in an attempt to put her life back together following a terrible car accident and a bitter romantic break up.There is joy to be found in the cracks, if you let the light in, illuminating a redemptive path for you. The writing is warm and evocative and you can imagine the beautiful scenery as you read, settling into the family as if you were one of them. Although fate had dealt her a bad hand, Benedict’s desertion had enabled her to meet the true love of her life and she has lived happily with her beloved Pascal in the artists’ community of Spindrift for the last two decades. So this reason for losing interest in the book is really up in the air as possibly being completely invalid, depending on why the man was available. Kahlo embraced the Kintsugi philosophy by highlighting her prosthetic leg so it became a thing of beauty.

It's a lovely, engaging story which I very much enjoyed reading and one which I was I sorry to finish. Now, to add the rest of the secondary characters who were well drawn from [Ben, Helen, Finn, Gina, Alice, Prudence, Jane, Jack] to name a few that the reader will get a well told intriguing story that you will find it hard to put down till the end keeping you entertained. Unsure of herself and suffering from a crisis of confidence after having her heart broken by her ex Robbie and currently staying with her best friend, Jane, Ellie isn’t sure what direction her life is going in.Putting her life back together after a break-up is going to take time, but the crumbling country estate—as much in need of TLC as she is—seems the perfect place to do it. I can’t recommend this series highly enough, these books are captivating, immersive and breathtaking; a teriffic trilogy. As a Chartered Psychologist and Curator at Daily Life Ltd, I am struck by how the project invites us to reconsider our preconceptions about mental health. The author has an easy to read style, really enjoyable, with excellent powers of description - I love the passage she quotes above, but some of my equal favourites are some of the more mundane where she engages the characters in activities and brings them so vividly to life.

a massive amount of time passes while in the book and even though there are large chunks of time missing from being explained or delved into, it wasn't a bad thing. Show up, warts and all, cracks and all, every blemish, every wrinkle, every scar tells a story if you’ll let it… Will you? Living with a disability; caring for someone who cannot live independently; bringing up a disabled child – the Advice Centre has information on benefits, legislation, keeping warm and well, fall prevention, generally coping with being a carer. Now to put the icing o the cake how this author was able to present the 'secrets and revelations' that will come out from this read was very well done. All the way back to his first, original story, discovering along the way an uncommon spirit and humility. Only now should I say that the author walks the edge of pain in these poems – bereavement, marital breakdown and separation from his beloved young daughter. Spindrift House, Cornwall Edith Fairchild's good-for-nothing husband, Benedict, deserted her when their children were babies.
