Conductance values run from -9 to 0 for iron objects and from 0 to 40 for detecting more valuable objects, with silver objects having higher conductance values and gold objects having a medium conductance. This detector utilizes Multiple Frequency Processing for more accurate target identification, even in iron-rich areas.

The compromises are one less detecting mode, the 600 doesn’t have the Gold Mode, your choices in some of the settings are not as wide as the 800 and the WM08 wireless unit isn’t supplied. Waterproof for up to 3 meters, the Equinox is ideal for detecting in rivers, lakes and surf, or snorkeling in shallows.
