But I didn’t know that I needed to constantly surround myself with women who looked like me that were at the level I was trying to get to. I didn’t know that delegating work I wasn’t particularly good at or interested in would free up my time and mental space to focus on the work that really mattered to me. I thought I had to wait until I could afford it, and I wasted so much time and energy in the process. Why most of the financial advice you've heard in the past (like "skip your daily latte to save money") is absolute, patriarchal nonsense.

We Should All Be Millionaires details a realistic, achievable, step-by-step path tocreating the support, confidence, and plan you need toown your success and become the millionaire the world needs you to be. The premise here is that we are all capable of making millions of dollars a year and sometimes it’s just a matter of hiring out help to free our time up to generate and execute all the money making ideas in our head. And also deeply regretting deciding to just grab whatever dirty laundry was nearby before I came over. I was looking much less like a lawyer, and much more like somebody who doesn't have a job.

So many personal finance gurus talk as nauseam about expense-cutting your way to wealth. Negotiate your cable bill down. Never eat out. Don’t vacation. And here's the thing. You know, people always say to me, “Well, but I'm a special snowflake. And therefore, only I can do it. No one else can do the magic that I do.” So, in addition to being a special snowflake, you are a trapped snowflake. You are a tired snowflake. You are a miserable snowflake, because you work too much and you're exhausted. It's tough to convince people of what I'm talking about, but hopefully someone will read this and buy something deeper on the subject of money and starting a line that leads to riches. We Should All Be Millionaires: The Club is a business training membership for women who want to build a business and make money. Regardless of your starting point, The Club will help you level up and is not a one-size-fits all approach. You need to deliver on a big promise. Say it with me. No punk promises, okay? Again, together, no punk promises! You can deliver on something bigger. Don't hide. Don't be scared to really go out there and show people what you can do, show people the transformation that you can create for them. So, make a very big promise and then deliver on it.

Rodgers’ mission is to teach women—especially women of color—how to end the cycle of overworking, underearning, and financial stress, once and for all. I was approved for a review copy of this one and started reading it the same day. I’m a huge personal finance nerd, and I am always looking for interesting information/advice about growing personal wealth (I have *lofty* goals of buying an affordable house and retiring one day, haha). This book was not at all what I expected. And it needs to be rooted in your strengths. You don't need to do what you see your friend doing, or what the woman or a man sitting next to you is doing. Your million-dollar offer is rooted in what you are already talented at. What you're already good at, what you're already drawn to. You don't have to change. You don't have to become a whole brand-new person. It's just a mindset shift. Big picture view: The world would look different if women had more money and more power. For a better world, sure, but she also wants us to have lots of money for the things we want for ourselves and our families. And for more time, energy, joy, and peace of mind. For freedom. Stand out, be who you really are, because that's what you need. That's your superpower. And what you need to do is discover your compelling message, right? What is your big message? And if you don't know what it is, that's what you need to find out. And trust me, it has to do with who you are, your identity, what excites you, what you're into, your interests. That's what's going to grab the attention of your potential clients.

boys get talked to more about making money and investing while girls are talked to about saving money and being careful with it. Lots of sweeping generalizations like “boys get paid more money than girls for doing the same chores at home.” Rachel started her career working on The Hill with nonprofits, federal judges, and iconic leaders including Hillary Clinton. When she realized that changing the world is a lot easier when you have some cash in your bank account, she decided to become wealthy and teach other women how to do the same. An eye-opening history lesson on how women and people of color have been shut out of the ability to build wealth for centuries - and how we can fix this. You should be ambitious, driven, coachable, eager to learn and have a long-term mindset to be successful in this program. Summary: It was interesting when she broke down celebrities hired Staff. House, managers, private chefs, nannies, all amounted to about half million a year that they employ.

These are the moves that you need to make. And I know it's scary, but you can do it. And you may not be ready, right, to hire four new team members. But I have another challenge for you. Are you ready? Are you excited? Okay. So here's my challenge. My favorite idea in the book is that women being told to scrimp and save is not only sexist but the slAn eye-opening history lesson on how women and people of color have been shut out of the ability to build wealth for centuries—and how we can fix this.

But I’m terrible with money. I can’t become wealthy. This is possible for other people, but not for me.” A diverse community – directory of members and a private Facebook group Who is We Should All Be Millionaires: The Club For? There’s also too much bootstrap mentality in this. It clangs and it drowns the really wonderful messages (you can control your dignity, you can control how you speak to yourself). A step-by-step plan to detox your environment and live like a millionaire (even if you ain’t one — yet!).

Summary:

And the way that I see this manifest itself the most is with pricing. Mm-hmm. You undercharge – she knows. You undercharge and you over deliver, and it's affecting your earning potential. Right? You thinking that you're not enough. You procrastinate, or you hide, or you don't even try in the first place because you don't want to fail publicly. Below are some of the highlights, but I encourage you to get yourself a copy of the book to mark up and benefit from the details and the high energy.
