In the original rules, the winner is the first player to reach 30 points. In the revised rules, the winner is the player with the most points when the last card is drawn. Dixit simulates going through an indie art exhibition with your friends. Where you get to see a lot of surreal and visually stunning artwork, but the fun comes from the witticisms and crude humour you share with your friends. 3 Player Dixit

Board game Dixit Odyssey je osmislio dečiji psihoterapeut kao igru koja otvara dečiji prozor mašte i uspostavlja kreativnost kroz pripovedanje priča koristeći umetnički oslikane karte. Pravila igre su zato jako jednostavna.

Example: Tom has voted for image number 3 as have 5 other players. Tom would normally score 6 points, but since the maximum number of points scored is limited to 5, he'll only score 5, the maximum, this turn. Chris though, has voted with Amanda for image number 2. Unfortunately, that image was chosen by the storyteller with the red vote token, so they score no points. Kate has voted for an image which got no votes other than her own. She therefore scores no points. Every other (non-storyteller) player then selects one card from their own hand which best matches the sentence given by the storyteller. In a three-player game, the two non-storyteller players each select two cards from their hand. If you haven’t played Dixit yet, the basic gist of the game is that there will be a storyteller each round, and they will declare a card from their hand with a vague hint while the other players also try to match that hint with one of their cards, with the storyteller aiming to have their card be figured out by at least one player, but not everyone, with the main draw of the game being the wonderfully illustrated cards with surreal imagery, making the vague hints needed even more vague by way of the artwork alone.
