First of all let me say yes, it's a good looking statue with an iconic pose and the lighting looks nice. Before receiving it, I thought it would be a 5 star piece for sure. However after having seen 5 samples (including 3 regular editions) and having smashed 2 of them, I do need to point out some quality concerns.

The base is a very good design with the Metroid logo, but 2 of mine came with pretty poor paintwork on the big silver "S" in the middle, there is a white scuffy looking haze all over it, almost looks like paint fade, hard to describe but definitely hurts the aesthetics when you look closely. First 4 Figures is happy to present a new series of Metroid Master Arts statues, starting with the Master Arts Metroid Prime 2 Light Suit. Samus is holding her arm cannon up, ready to fire as she storms the Sky Temple to defeat the Emperor Ing. She’s been rendered at a jaw-dropping 1/4 scale to encapsulate immense power that the Light Suit holds. She towers at 20 inches tall. And, of course, I am still waiting for them to make one of Krystal from Star Fox; specifically, one in her outfit from Assault. While a lot of depictions have her in her tribal outfit from Adventures, I much prefer her outfit from Assault. But I'll take either.Whatever your outlook on the controversial Wii title, Figma's latest Nintendo-themed offering should be of interest. Zero Suit Samus is fully poseable and comes with interchangeable components and accessories, including a "thumbs up" hand: This is the exclusive version of the Varia Suit.
