About this deal

Some of y’all don’t like a slow-burn book BUT LISTEN, I DO, I’M A SLOW-BURN GIRLIE AND I WILL BE TILL THE DAY I DIE. I heard that’s how Mariana Zapata writes usually, and tbh, just give me more! I found the book From Lukov with Love to be a captivating and emotionally rich read. The slow-burn romance between Jasmine and Ivan kept me engaged, and their journey of personal growth and overcoming fear was inspiring. The power of love portrayed in the story resonated deeply with me, highlighting the importance of vulnerability and communication. The book’s emphasis on pursuing passions and embracing second chances served as a reminder to never give up on dreams. Overall, From Lukov with Love left a lasting impact on me, with its well-written narrative and memorable characters. Who Would Enjoy this Book? I mean, yes it had romantic elements to it, but this story was revolved around people finding themselves and developing and friendships and family and so so so much more. Romance wasn't even an undertone until about the 70% mark. But when the arrogant asshole she loves to hate offers her a partnership, she needs to consider if he may have a hidden agenda. Or is there more to Ivan Lukov than what meets the eye. From Lukov with Love by Mariana Zapata – My Review But it was when you started taking the most basic things for granted that life decided to teach you that you're an ungrateful idiot."

This is a highly personal topic for people and varies depending on the individual's personality and situation. A "but" was about to come out of her mouth. I could feel it. There was always a "but" when someone paid you a compliment. Normally, I don’t fall for contemporary romance characters (I’m more of a sci-fi/fantasy whore anyway), but there was something about Vanya Lukov. I simply fell in love with him. Me and Jasmine, both of us. Jasmine is a failed figure skater, ever since she moved from the junior to the senior level of competition, she hasn't been as successful. No one will partner skate with her and the judges don't like her because they think she has an attitude problem (spoiler alert, she does). One day she gets asked to partner skate with her organization's most successful skater- who just also happens to be her arch enemy. But I still enjoyed this book. I loved the characters, their devotion and commitment to what they love. And I loved the angst and the banter. They were both so stubborn, bossy, strong-willed and argumentative, it was hilarious. I just couldn’t wait to see whose head is gonna pop first.Oh, they are so good! Very, very slow burn. Her writing is so amazing. You must try one of her books!

i know mz's smut scenes are bad... but pls, ma'am, i'd rather you leave it out of the picture if you're gonna write such traumatising one line smut scenes <3 First off, our main character is straight-up awful and I don't think I've ever disliked a figment of someone else's imagination so strongly in my entire life. I'm guessing that the author's intention was to make her firey, snarky, and no-nonsense, but she definitely missed the mark. Jasmine is- satan. And yes, most definitely has an attitude problem. He wouldn't know I didn't really read. I borrowed audiobooks from the library, but that was as crazy as I got. “But when the offer of a lifetime comes in from an arrogant idiot she’s spent the last decade dreaming about pushing in the way of a moving bus, Jasmine might have to reconsider everything. ivan lukov, that’s all. he’s officially added to my list of book bfs. i was screaming into my pillow every time he done something cute. like how can he not be ur book bf when his love language is words of affirmation and physical touch>>>

of 5 stars 2 of 5 stars 3 of 5 stars 4 of 5 stars 5 of 5 stars From Lukov with Love by Mariana Zapata His gaze was so intent the entire world seemed to stop. "You tell me. I never stop thinking about you. I worry about you all the time. Every beautiful thing I see reminds me of you. I can't finish my practices in Colorado with out wishing you were around," he said in a steady tone. "You tell me what I feel.” In the end, Jazmine and Ivan’s hard work and dedication pay off. They find success in their skating careers and manage to qualify for the Olympics. Along the way, they have also fallen deeply in love and finally confess their feelings for each other. Their relationship adds an extra layer of joy and fulfillment to their achievements. This is, yet again, another crusty-on-the-outside-soft-on-the-inside romance that Mariana Zapata serves us and – with the risk of repeating myself – I honestly believe that it’s one of my favourite contemporary romances ever. We both know you love me.” I wanted to deny it. I really did. Mostly because I hated the fact that he sounded so smug. But we both knew I’d be lying. Maybe I’d never said the words, but he knew. Like he’d known about my learning disability but never said anything. Like he knew chocolate was my weakness and fed it to me when I needed it most.”

I just kept on crying. For my dad. For my mom. For my siblings. For myself. For not feeling good enough. For not feeling enough. For doing what I wanted to do despite all the noes and the eye rolls and all the things I’d lost that I might someday regret more than I already did.” It’s just that – I don’t think I even see this book as a romance. Apart from the very end, I just saw them as friends. And I was fine with that. I’m just not sure I’d recommend it to someone who’s looking for a romance specifically. From Lukov with Love” is a contemporary romance novel written by Mariana Zapata. The story revolves around Jasmine Santos, a talented figure skater who is struggling to make her dreams come true. When her coach suggests a partnership with Ivan Lukov, an arrogant and talented Russian figure skater, Jasmine reluctantly agrees, hoping that this new partnership will be the key to her success. i think the characters blinked so much they just couldn't open their eyes to what was right in front of them
