i absolutely love the gold and red splatter and i think its very fitting for the album’s aesthetics. After Hours is the star becoming emotionally unraveled, left picking at the remnants of a failed relationship. So, I have to say that I started my collection with this album and with the purchase of my amazing Projetc Debut III turntable. I was really bouncing around the different versions of this album, reading reviews and hoping to snag a good quality pressing. I was originally not a big fan of this album but the vinyl made me like the musical elements a lot more.

The pressing really isn’t the best, which is sad Bc this album if pressed at good quality would sound even more magical.would have made sense if the signature was on the actual record and the other gatefold was made to put the remixes on. And for those with no interest in sound quality but just want to have some cool vinyl, that’s great! They could have done so much more than just 10 pages of the same red picture of Abel at different angles in the booklet. As the blood effect is HIGHLY realistic and made my friend Babish Patel so very frightened when I showed it to him! The noise floor is a little higher than usual on this one, kind of like a slight continuous crackle with a few pops here and there, but it’s totally listenable and the music drowns it out most of the time.

It's not really my music, but blinding lights was the most listened song of 2020 and I wanted something very well produced to test the quality of my equipment. As he evolves, he continues to reinvent himself, and he knows exactly how to leave fans hooked on havoc. Bought this at Gran Canaria, brought it back to the UK and I’m surprised at the mastering for a mainstream pop record. One of my all time favorite albums, but when I listened to it the first time there was a ton of surface noise on both discs. The separation between the instrumentation is spacious and the vocals absolutely erupt from the mix.

Yes, The After Hours tour will be his eighth tour and is set to start on January 14, 2022, in Vancouver and end on November 16, 2022 in London. With all the excellent bonus tracks included, you pretty much have an Elmore James greatest hits record. When record labels start to hear that records aren’t playable on lower grade systems they start dumbing down the mastering so that more tables can handle it.
