So after giving her antibiotics to stop her milk production on our vet’s advice, my family made the decision to spay her. Poppy is fully recovered now I did walk her after 6 days before her stitches came out at 10 days she was fine. As a dogs sense of smell is thousands of times better then ours and males can smell and detect bitches in season over considerable distances wouldnt hold out that much hope that they work.

My bitch has gone into heat and the husky won't leave her alone, just until we can get him booked in to get his nuts removed!
