I wonder how long it’ll take her to realize that the fictional men she adores so much are all written by women. Every after reading the book and already knowing what was going to happen my emotions were all over the place. Firstly what I have read of Catharina’s so far (Off-limits series) I have loved, but unfortunately, this story and trope was just not for me.I love listening to Sebastian York and he excelled himself with this one and his dirty talking hero! THIS is when (after much threatening from granny, leveraging from her parents, and because of her leftover love) the mfc reluctantly reprises her role as betrothed and then marries the mmc. It is a shame that I didn’t love this story more after loving the previous Catharina books, but that’s just the way it goes sometimes.

It was a (slow burn 🔥) for those who like those types of stories,and fare warning; for those readers who happen to dislike those types of stories … as I’m aware there are plenty of you guys going around. I haven’t listened to duet-style narration for a while now and this book reminded me how much I love it versus dual narration. The elusive billionaire media mogul is the man she’s always loved…yet he’s only ever had eyes for her sister. Shortly before her wedding, Hannah runs away from her and leaves Raven to fulfill the terms of the marriage agreed upon by both families. It was one of those story’s that fortunately captured the romantic in me… it was cute, with a good story.
